St. Coletta PCS

Washington, DC 20003

St. Coletta serves students with mental retardation, autism, and multiple disabilities in an atmosphere that builds on students’ strengths and competencies. The focus is on the individual learner and what he/she needs to be successful in school and in the wider community. We believe that individuals learn best through hands-on, exploratory experiences. Instruction is theme-based and stresses functional life skills. A full range of therapeutic services is delivered on site in an integrated model. Full time related services providers are available to address student needs throughout the day.

St. Coletta operates a public charter school for students with disabilities in the District of Columbia—the St. Coletta Special Education Public Charter School—and also has two locations in Virginia, one in Arlington and one in Alexandria, which serve adults with cognitive disabilities.
